‘Alien Code’ Insider Movie Review (2)

The movie “Alien Code” was released in 2018 and it was directed and written by Michael G. Cooney. The nature of the movie is sci-fi and it exposes lies of alien abductees.

Alex Jacobs is a brilliant cryptographer and he found that he was stalked by the other worldly beings along with government agents after deciphering a satellite message.

The movie revolves around a brilliant cryptographer Alex Jacobs who found himself dead in his room by himself. The nature of this movie is thriller and mysterious.

The movie highlights the ways in which government agencies and undercover agents work and how they use brilliant people for wrong tasks. The same thing happened with Alex when he was approached by Rabecca who claimed that she worked for ARIST organization.

I’ll be completely honest …

I liked it. The movie has its own class and it is not like traditional movies where viewers can predict the next scene or even some movies are so boring that viewers can easily forecast their ending.

However, it is not the case with this movie as every scene is full of thrills and suspense. It is a hard nut to crack for the viewers to predict its ending or even the next scene of the movie.

Alien Code requires the full concentration of the viewers to understand its theme and to enjoy the story in the best manner. The movie is directed in the best manner and the primary reason that I would say for its perfection is that the writer and director of this movie is the same person. Therefore, it is right to say that it was easier for Michael G. Cooney to direct the movie in his own style. Moreover, actors did their best to make this movie worth watching.

“It’s all already happened. It was over before it began. You know, the world could end tomorrow.” — Alex

Alex Jacobs is playing the leading role in this movie and he is playing the role of a brilliant cryptographer in this case. In the same manner, Rabecca’s acting is worth watching as her facial expressions are wonderful and her body language matches with every scene of the movie perfectly.

She told Alex that she came from an organization named as ARTIST and she wanted him to work with her but she could not give him any details about the project unless he signs a non-disclosure agreement with her organization.

He was astonished when he received $50,000 for just signing the non-disclosure agreement and being a part of that project. He was then sent to a remote facility where he started working on the top-secret project.

By the way… did you know?

  • Michael G. Cooney has directed this movie. He directed other movies such as “Mirage Men” and “Epoch”.
  • The movie is a Sci-Fi movie but it is not based on truth and it is an imagination of the writer.
  • The movie did not win any award as it is not a blockbuster movie. However, the acting and director’s efforts are amazing.
  • Kyle Gallner is playing the lead role in the movie as Alex Jacobs. He played role in other movies like the “American Sniper” and “The Finest Hours”.

Alien Code was very enjoyable. Although it is not a blockbuster, it is a gift for thriller lovers.

I would say that the best thing of this movie is that it is not boring at all. Every scene of the movie is awesome and it is an informative movie. It helps to understand how agencies work and what is decoding and how decoders can alter satellite images and information for objectives of their organizations.

I would recommend this movie to all thriller lovers and I hope that they would not get bored watching this movie.

I would recommend some movies as well that are similar to the theme of the Alien Code. All these movies are Sci-Fi and they all have thriller nature and I would simply say these are gifts movies for thriller lovers.

These movies include: Terminus (2015), Mandrake (2010), Mirage Men (2013), Epoch (2000), The Lazarus Effect (2015), and Donovan’s Echo (2011).
