Chai Spiced White Russians:

I hope you’re ready for another holiday co*cktail recipe. As I mentioned above, today’s post features my recipe for delicious Chai Spiced White Russians. They are so-o-o good!

I’ve teamed up with The Hanger 1 Distillery to create and share this recipe. The Hanger 1 Distillery produces inspired spirits with fresh, local ingredients in Alameda, California. I’ve been a big fan of their products for quite some time. You might remember their delicious Honeycomb Vodka making an appearance in my fall living room tour.

For this recipe, I’ve used Hanger 1 Straight Vodka. It’s made from a blend of California grapes and Midwestern grain. It’s wonderfully smooth with a slightly floral nose. The balanced profile makes it a perfect base for both sweet and savory co*cktails. Recently, it’s become my go-to vodka. In today’s recipe, it works exceptionally well with all the spices in the chai.

As regular readers of IBC probably know, I enjoy White Russians. On Thanksgiving morning, they’ve become a tradition for my family when we watch the Macy’s parade at my brother’s house. I’ve also shared a couple of variations, including Salted Caramel and Peppermint. It’s a thrill to add these Chai Spiced White Russians to the collection.

How to Make Chai Spiced White Russians:

Traditionally, White Russians are made of vodka, coffee-flavored liqueur, and half-and-half. To make this version of the co*cktail, you incorporate the fabulous flavors of chai. I found that the best way to do this is to infuse the Hanger 1 Straight Vodka with chai tea bags.

Once the vodka is thoroughly infused, remove the tea bags, and you’re ready to mix the co*cktails.

Below I’ve shared the ingredients and instructions for putting together a batch of these Chai Spiced White Russians. This particular recipe will serve four.

To your chai-infused vodka, add the coffee-flavored liqueur and half-and-half. Stir to combine. You’ll want to keep this mixture chilled until it’s time to serve.
